"I've been stopping by here for years. There are thousands of Pizza joints around. Most are ok, some are great. Vincenzo's Pizza has been around forever, obviously there is a reason for this. Really good Pizza and dough, wings, salads are also great. The OG in Newhall is my favorite. Check out the family meal deals and lunch specials also."

The saga of Vincenzo's Pizza is one of passion, destiny, and the relentless pursuit of perfection.

Young Bob Krauss, raised in the steel-forged heart of Pittsburgh, found his life forever altered by a humble sanctuary—a family-owned haven called Vincent's. This was no ordinary pizza shop. Its owners, keepers of sacred culinary traditions passed down through generations in Naples, worked their magic daily. With weathered hands that told stories of dedication, they transformed simple dough into expressions of art—hand-tossing their authentic Napoli-style creations with mesmerizing precision, dusting each masterpiece with aromatic granulated garlic that hung in the air like a siren's call. What emerged from their fiery ovens defied description—a crust that rose to majestic heights along its edges, creating a texture so divine it existed nowhere else on Earth.

Then came the heartbreak.

In 1978, fate cruelly tore Bob away from his beloved pizza paradise, relocating him to the sun-drenched shores of California. While others saw golden opportunity, Bob felt only the hollow ache of absence—each mealtime a painful reminder of what he'd left behind. The pizzas of his new home were pale imitations, ghosts that only deepened his longing.

Driven by an almost spiritual hunger, Bob embarked on a pilgrimage back to Pittsburgh. Standing before the revered masters of Vincent's, he did what few would dare—he begged them to reveal the secrets guarded so jealously within their family for generations. The air grew heavy with tension as the owners contemplated this unthinkable request.

And then, the miracle occurred.

Perhaps seeing in Bob's eyes a kindred spirit—someone who would honor rather than exploit their legacy—they agreed. In a sacred ritual of knowledge transfer, they initiated Bob into the mysteries of their craft, entrusting him with the power to recreate their legendary pizza in a land far away.

Thus, in 1979, Vincenzo's Pizza burst into existence in Newhall—a phoenix rising from the flames of passion and persistence. At first, this temple of taste opened its doors only three hallowed days each week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But word spread like wildfire. Soon, devotees formed pilgrimages outside, standing in lines that stretched into the distance, all for the chance to experience a transcendent slice of pizza perfection.

Now, 45 YEARS LATER, we stand as living testaments to this legendary journey. While the world around us has transformed countless times, our commitment remains unshaken. Every single day, our hands perform the same sacred rituals, crafting each pizza with the same devotion that began in a small shop in Naples, traveled to Pittsburgh, and finally found its true home in Newhall.

This isn't just our history—it's our legacy. And with every pizza we serve, that legacy lives on.
